Being active is all about enjoying yourself while you do good things for your body. 30 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each day is all it takes - and it doesn't have to be 30 minutes all in one go. Three 10 minute sessions are just as good for your health.

Activities like walking, swimming, dancing or cycling which cause a small, but noticeable, increase in your breathing rate will benefit your health - and make you feel great!

There are lots of great ways to be active in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide, click on the buttons on this page and have a look. For other great active ideas all round South Australia visit www.beactive.com.au.
